WEIRD SUMMIT 2: Webb’s Wild Ride VS Hank Topless
April 23 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Tap & Bottle goes Denver Pop Festival / CBGB, with T.S. Henry Webb’s rock fusion / Chicago blues meeting John Cordes’ classical improv.
T.S. Henry Webb, past-tense: composer, arranger and performer in the CBS super group, The Flock.
Present-tense: T.S.’s music is Metropolitan to down home Country, Symphonic to Broadway, Blues to Burlesque, Polka, Vamps to Vaudeville, Vortical Instrumental Meanderings to purposely soulful love songs and musical statements – unmistakably original, filled with fun and emotion.
John Cordes: first and last fiddle player to use a wah wah pedal in the Billy Joe Shaver band…also a member of Sub Zero, the band that opened CBGB in New York. John later played there with the improvisational band Alien Planetscapes.
Opening solo set from everybody’s nobody, Hank Topless.
